Obituary of Mary Anne Nadrofsky

NADROFSKY, Mary Anne (nee Kniffen) passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday January 15, 2017 in her 72nd year. Loving wife of Bob, dear mother of Bill and Jamie (Karen) all of Port Dover. Proud grandmother of Kaylee, Chloe and Remington. Fondly remembered by step-daughters Penny and Julie, twin brother Murray (Shirley) Kniffen of Tillsonburg and sister Jane Kniffen of Florida. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Marion Kniffen and step-mother Artell Whitehead and brother-in-law Norm. Mary was a former Lady Commodore of the Port Dover Yacht Club, she also held the office of vice president of First Mates and was the second women in Canada to serve as Commander in the Power Squadron. She was a dedicated cat lover and will be sadly missed by her furry friends Mac, Missy and Lennie. Friends are invited to meet with family to share their memories of Mary Anne on Monday January 23, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Memorial Service will be held in Mary Anne's memory on Tuesday January 24 at 11am at Grace United Church (corner of Chapman and St. George St.) The Reverend Jeff Smith officiating. Interment Port Dover Cemetery. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
