Obituary of Walter Stelling
STELLING, Walter of Port Dover, passed away at his home on Thursday April 10, 2025, in his 89th year. Dearly loved father of Al (Mandy) Stelling of Brantford and Terry Stelling. Proud and loving grandfather of A.J., Scott, Riley, Robert (Jody), Crystal (Darryl) and Donny, Ashley, Amanda, Danielle, great-grandfather to Ariana. Dear brother of Alfred (Brenda) Stelling of Windsor. Dear uncle of Jennifer, Jacqueline & Jeffrey and their families. Walter will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Linda (2017), and his parents Walter and Margaret. He was a Royal Canadian Navy Veteran. Walter worked at Ontario Hydro-Nanticoke for many years. He was a loyal supporter of the Canadian War Amps and a dedicated member of the Simcoe Gospel Chapel. Walter was also a proud patron of Swiss Chalet. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Walter at visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave. Port Dover. 519-583-1530 on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Funeral Service to honour his life will be held at Simcoe Gospel Chapel, 4152 Hwy. # 3 E., Simcoe on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1 pm followed by interment at Port Dover Cemetery.
