Obituary of Ralph Gene Murphy

MURPHY, Ralph, of Port Dover passed away suddenly at his home, on Monday, April 14, 2025 in his 81st year. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Mark  Murphy of Port Dover, Brian and Cathy Murphy of Nanaimo, B.C. and Ashley and Nick Van Hee of Townsend. Proud grandfather of Haylee, Chase, Skyler and Roryn, great-grandfather of Olympia, Aurora and Addelyn. Will be sadly missed by his siblings, Sandra, Ross, Doug, George and Shelly. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Madge Murphy and his sister Sherel, who passed on the same day April 14, 2025. Ralph loved dancing, especially at the Legion on Sunday afternoons. He also enjoyed his Saturday mornings with his friends at the Silver Lake Market. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughters, who were the light of his life. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 519-583-1530. A Celebration of Life to honour Ralph's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 158, Market St. Port Dover on Friday, May 23 at 1 pm..
