Actually a memory surfaced today which is kind of strange too! Because the last time I worked out at Norfolk fitness it was with Eric , he was training regularly there at the time with Jordan; Charity's son, and when I came home from BC in 2019;Eric Styles was the first one to bring me to my first workout at home. The funny thing is I joined back there today and I remember the days sitting in the sauna with him shooting the shit about life . Needless to say it was pretty empty and alone sitting in there today with only his memory.

Eric and I shared poetry and a lot of laughs. We connected immediately and he will be dearly missed, his artistic qualities were inspiring and he was gentle and caring. The world needs more people like Eric that's for sure.

It is unimaginable to lose a son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle so young. Eric, I have thought of you often and the struggles you must have faced. You have reached a peaceful place and one where I am sure your mother is wrapping her arms around you tightly. There is comfort in knowing that would be a safe place for you. I have many fond memories of Eric; I remember him working out at Port Dover Health and Fitness doing the most intense excercise. He would also come out train with Taylor Soloman and I, where we would grapple and spar each other. I will cherish these memories I have of him for the rest of my life.

My condolences to the Styles family and close family and friends. I never met Eric but I did hear a lot about him. He was charitable and a kind person. He was loved and cared for. He will remain in my memory exactly how I wrote it. God bless his family and his soul. I would have liked to meet you Eric. Im sure we had many things in common. Although I only met Eric once, at his mother’s funeral, I will always remember how loving and attentive he was to the elderly in attendance that day. He made sure everyone was welcomed had a seat. There was someone there in a wheelchair and he took it upon himself to make sure they were able to see and hear the service. He truly had a loving heart and that flame will continue to burn in each of you. Share his flame.
