Obituary of Haley Anne Saunders

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Haley Anne Saunders on March 30, 2026.

Haley leaves behind her loving parents, Mike and Debbie, who cherished her deeply and will forever hold her close in their hearts. She will be sadly missed by her brother, Michael (Connor), and her sister, Meaghan (Josh). Haley was a proud and loving aunt to Rowan, Peyton, and Hunter, all of whom brought her great joy. She will also be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her aunts, Michelle Saunders, Virginia Copeman, and Kathy Weaver, as well as her cousins, Alexis and Lee, and by many extended family members, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Haley had a truly big heart. She treasured the people closest to her and loved nothing more than surrounding herself with those she cared about. Her warmth, and caring nature will be remembered always. She had a special love for her dog, Cedar, who was a cherished companion and brought her joy and happiness. Haley was also a devoted sports fan, proudly supporting her teams — especially the Buffalo Bills, never missing a game and cheering them on with passion and spirit. Though her time here was far too short, Haley’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family and friends, and the joy she brought into the lives of others.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Haley’s honour at the Port Dover Legion, 212 Market St E. on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 2:00-4:30pm.
