Obituary of Patricia Irene Gaston

Patricia Irene Gaston passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, at Norfolk General Hospital. Patricia is now reunited with her beloved husband, John Gaston; her parents, James and Irene Follington; and seven of her siblings who predeceased her.

Patricia was the cherished and devoted mother of Steven (Sammi) Maxwell, Christian (Nicole), Kimberly (Fabian), and Crystal. She was an incredibly proud and loving Nana to Colin, Abigail, Jorden, Ryan, Ella, Draeyden, Deshon, Annissa, Allegra, Andrew, Aiden, Aaliyah, Davyn, and Liam. She is also survived by four loving siblings, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Patricia’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She devoted her time, love, and endless energy to each and every one of them. Being a Nana was a role she cherished deeply and embraced wholeheartedly. Each of her grandchildren could always feel without question her unconditional love for them. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought to those around her.

The family invites you to join them for visitation on Thursday May 21, 2026 at Thompson Waters Funeral Home 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519)583-1530 from 2-4pm or 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 22, 2026 at 1:00pm in the Thompson Waters Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at the Port Dover Cemetery. Officiated by Bishop Barry Clarke.
