Obituary of Linda Jane Jones

JONES, Linda Jane (nee Whitefield), of Port Dover passed away at Dover Cliffs LTC on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in her 68th year. Cherished mother of Jessica of Port Dover. Devoted grandmother of Maddison and Memphis. Dear sister of Robert (Kim) Whitefield of Cobourg, Paul Whitefield of Kitchener, Carrie Whitefield of Port Hope and sister-in-law of Cindy Whitefield of Mississauga. Predeceased by her parents Ike and Marg Whitefield and brother Greg Whitefield. Linda was an RPN and worked for many years in the health care field. She was an avid bird watcher and loved to bake, but her greatest love was her grandchildren. A very special thank you to the staff at Dover Cliffs LTC for the compassionate care given to Linda. Friends are invited to share their memories of Linda at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519-583-1530) on Monday, February 13, 2017 for visitation from 11am to 12 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12 in the funeral home Chapel.
