Obituary of Patricia Trinder

TRINDER, Patricia "Trish" (nee Chambers) of Port Dover, passed away  peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in her 59th year. Loving wife of Ken, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Amie and Ray Ferris of Port Rowan and Corey Trinder and Robin Whitehead of Port Dover. Much loved Mimi of Bailey and Steven. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ric and Sally Chambers, Ron and Karen Chambers all of Port Dover, Bob Trinder and Diane VanZee of Turkey Point and Carol and Ed Anthony of Birch Hill Saskatchewan. Fondly remembered by her father-in-law Jim Hogan of London. Trish will by sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nephew and numerous friends. Predeceased by her parents Grant and Val Chambers, mother-in-law Violet Hogan and sister-in-law Pat Trinder. Trish was a sales representative with Royal LePage Brown Realty. She began her real estate career in 1980 with her father Grant at George MacDonald real estate as an office administrator. She was a past president of the Port Dover Skating Club and Port Dover Minor Softball and an avid volunteer for the Port Dover Kinsmen Club and other local Port Dover organizations. Trish loved to garden just like her mother and enjoyed spending as much time as she could would her family and friends. The family would like to thank Sally and Nicci Chambers for their amazing care for Trish both while at home and in the hospital. As well as Drs. Natalie McConnell and Robin Martin-Godelie and the nurses of 3B and the 4th floor at Norfolk General Hospital for their compassionate and accommodating care during this difficult time. Friends are invited to share their memories of Trish at visitation on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 2 pm to 5 pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover, 519-583-1530. A Memorial Service to celebrate Trish's life will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2 pm at Grace United Church (Chapman & St. George Sts) Port Dover. The Reverends Sheena Marini and Kathryn Vance officiating. For those wishing, donations to the Who Did It Club or the Port Dover Kinsmen Club would be greatly appreciated.
