FORREST, CHARLES "CHUCK"
FORREST, CHARLES "Chuck" of Port Dover passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in his 61st year. Predeceased by his wife Sharon. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Nancy Milne and her husband George of Simcoe, George Forrest of Halifax, Viola Forrest Lawrow and her husband Tony of Port Dover and Pat Forrest of Port Dover. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Ilene Forrest, brothers Edward, Raymond, Bob and his wife Linda, and his sister Shirley Muth and her husband Leroy Phibbs. Will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Chuck worked for many years at Misners Fish Co. He was lovingly known as "Green Thumb" because of his abilities in the garden. He loved Port Dover and spent many hours sitting at the pier watching the boats. Chuck had a great affection for many dogs over his life. He loved hockey and was a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Family and friends are invited for visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from noon to 2 pm, followed by the service in the Chapel.
