Obituary of SANDRA MANUEL

MANUEL, SANDRA MANUEL, Sandra of Port Dover, passed away at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, on Friday, April 13, 2012 in her 68th year. Beloved and devoted wife of Geoff. Loving mother of John and his wife Sarah of Vanessa, and Kathleen Stackhouse and her husband Brian of St. Williams. Proud grandmother of Mathew and Aiden. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Margaret Tisdale of Port Dover, Lois and David Renner of Simcoe and Kenneth and Bonnie Manuel of Hagersville. Predeceased by her parents John and Edith Murphy, sister, Joan Pettigrew and her husband Fred and brother-in-law Harry Tisdale. Sandra was a PSW for many years for the VON and St. Elizabeth's. She was a very active community volunteer, her hard work and dedication will be remembered by all the organizations she worked so tirelessly for. Sandra was a past member of the Silver Lake Rebekah Lodge #150, a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Past President of St. Paul's Club, a member of Port Dover Area Food Bank and the Community Policing Association. She spent more than 30 years involved with Scouts Canada, both as a leader and an Executive Member. Friends are invited to meet with the family to share their memories of Sandra at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Funeral Service to Celebrate Sandra's life will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church (Market and St. George Sts.) Port Dover, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 1 pm, followed by cremtion.
