Obituary of ELIZABETH HOLMES

HOLMES, ELIZABETH ANN "LIZ" HOLMES, Elizabeth "Liz" of Port Dover, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday, September 10, 2012, surrounded by the love of her family, in her 70th year. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Tom and Rachelle of Port Dover. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Tom and Judy Evans of Temagami, Joseph Evans of North Bay, and Mary and Craig Summers of North Carolina. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (2010) and son Michael. Liz was a long time teacher in British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends are invited for visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Lynn Park Rd., Port Dover on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:30 am. Cremation to follow.
