Obituary of DAVID MACMURRAY

MACMURRAY, DAVID "PETER" MacMURRAY, David "Peter" of Port Dover passed away peacefully surrounded by family December 24, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton. Peter leaves behind his beloved wife Helen of 58 years, loving children Melanie of Grimsby, David (Stephanie) of Oshawa and treasured grandchildren Rachel, Kaitlyn, Daniel and Melissa . Predeceased by his parents David and Anne MacMurray. A long time employee of Texaco/ Esso, Peter had many hobbies, among his favourite was sailing, serving as Commodore of the Port Dover Yacht Club, and long serving member of the Marburg Association. Peter's infectious smile and witty sense of humour served him well, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service to celebrate Peter's life will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:30 am at St. Paul's Anglican Church (Corner of Market and St George Sts.) Port Dover, Father Kendall Reimer officiating. Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 519-583-1530.
