Obituary of JAMES HENSON

HENSON, JAMES EDWARD HENSON, James Edward C.P.A., C.A. of Port Dover passed away Wednesday March 27,2013 at Norfolk General Hospital in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Patricia (2012). Jim is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving children Lynne Henson (Bert) of Port Dover, Joan Jones of Kingston, Diane (David) Tyrrell of Hamilton and Jill McConnell of Port Dover. Dearly loved brother of Mary Kersey of Caledonia; missed also by her children. He was more than a brother-in-law to Barb Worth of Port Dover, and Art and Barbara Worth of Ancaster and their son Matthew (Maria). Beloved "Grumps" of Jessie, Adrien, Phoebe, Haprielle, Beracha (Caleb), Abbey, Hannah, Levi, Kirk and Paige. Jim was a life member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and was employed as a Chartered Accountant for over 35 years at Ontario Hydro. He was also active in the community, serving as treasurer of Port Dover Board of Trade and the United Way of Haldimand-Norfolk, and former President and board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Haldimand-Norfolk. Friends are invited to share memories of Jim with family Saturday March 30, 2013 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and Monday April 1, 2013 11am-12pm, at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave, Port Dover (519) 583-1530. A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held Monday April 1,2013 at 2pm at St. Paul's Anglican Church ( Market and St. George Sts.). Reverend David Mulholland and Father Kendall Reimer officiating.
