Tom & I are going to miss Henry & his visits to the Coffee Shop. He was such a likeable fellow along with his wife Shirley we always enjoyed their visits. We know he is happy now that he has been reunited with Shirley. God Bless you both for the friendship we shared.

I was working one day doing a sales trip up North and I was driving through Sunridge. I stopped at the Shell station to get gas and there was a little restaurant attached so I thought I might as well have lunch as it was already 11;30. As I went through the front door I noticed Henry sitting at a table with his wife so I went over to say hello. Henry right away said He knew who I was and played a little game to figure out what my name was and I wish I could remember how he did it because he got my first name out of me and my last name and at the same time making me think he new it all along. He was an interesting man and it was always fun to talk to him.

Henry and Shirley were our neighbours for too short a time. We miss them both dearly. Henry was noted for his dry wit and may I say grumpiness. But behind that façade was a kind and gentle soul. I enjoyed our back fence verbal forays and I was so proud when I attained the rank of "pal". Liz and I know that he is happy again as he has surely been reunited with his beloved Shirley.
