Obituary of MICHAEL GRANTHAM

GRANTHAM, Michael Frederick of Port Dover passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday October 28, 2014 at Norfolk General Hospital in his 71st year. Michael is survived by his loving wife Marjorie. Cherished father of Andrew (Line) of Surrey B.C. and Gail of Waterdown. Proud grandfather of Emily, Grant, Max and Mia. Devoted son of Helen. Michael will be fondly remembered by his sisters Carol (Ken) Slawson of Sundridge and Sheila Webster of Mississauga. Predeceased by his father Frederick and brother-in-law Derry. Michael was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #158 and former member of Perfect Column Lodge A.F.& A.M. He loved to read, play golf, fish, do some gardening and watch TV especially the news. Friends are invited to meet with family to share memories of Michael on Tuesday November 4, 2014 from 12 noon to 1pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A memorial Service will be held in Michael's memory following the visitation at 1pm in the funeral home Chapel, Cheryl Fitch officiating.
