I had Mrs. Innes as my grade 2 teacher at JM. I have always remembered her, over 30 years later. I remember the set up of her classroom, and the bulletin board that kept track of our reading. The winning group (mine) got a book. I think it was something to do with a lady and 99 cats. My condolences to the family, but know that she touched the lives of many of my friends as well.

I had the pleasure of knowing Iris when we both taught at J.M.Denyes Public School in Milton. She brought much caring, commitment and cheer to her work, both as a teacher and a colleague. My deepest condolences to her family on their loss.

I remember Iris fondly from our days teaching together at J.M. Denyes in Milton. Always quick-witted and with a ready smile, her students loved her. My condolences to her family.

We have fond memories of Aunty Iris as children growing up in Surrey, England and lots of greetings to each other over the years. She was our last link with our mum and we will miss her.
