Obituary of ROBERT OTTLEY

OTTLEY, Robert "Houndy" passed away suddenly on Saturday March 28, 2015 at his home in Port Dover in his 78th year. Dear father of Stephen (Tillane) of Brantford and Kim McArthur of Staynor. Sadly missed by his sisters Sally (Russell) McKnight and Ethel (Robert) Willson all of Port Dover. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Rebecca, Aislyn, Benjamin and Dalton and great- grandchildren Greyson, Norah, Alexander and Melody. Also survived by brothers-in-law Bill Spain and Lenny Smith of Port Dover. Predeceased by his son Tommy, parents William and Ethel, brothers Sam and Billy, sisters Eva, Noreen, Betty and Helen, brother-in-law Roy and son-in-law Robert. Bob spent his life on the water, first as a commercial fisherman and later working on tugboats and lake freighters. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with the family, on Wednesday April 1, 2015 from 1pm - 3 pm followed by a Memorial Service held in Bob's memory in the Chapel at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530.
