Obituary of Leonard Sears

SEARS, Leonard Allison passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home in his 75th year. Loving husband of over 50 years to his wife Faith, dear father of Elvin (Jessica) of Simcoe, Anne (Tony Janssen) Cobb of Woodstock, Suzie (Pat Welch) of Port Dover and Tammy (Gord) Whitehead also of Woodstock. Proud grandfather of Laura (Chris), Mike (Charity), Richard (Emily), Paul (Kayla), Kristin, Gordie and Liam. Great- grandfather of Mason. Leonard will be sadly missed by his brother Bill (Bridgette) of Victoria B.C. and sisters-in-law Emiline of Brantford and Mary of Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his parents Ernie and Lillian, siblings George, Donald, Jack, Art, Lillian and May. brothers-in-law Elvin Moke and Orval Sackrider and sister-in-law Beth. Leonard loved woodworking, playing darts and shooting the breeze, he will be missed. Friends are invited to meet with family to share their memories of Leonard on Friday July 31, 2015 from 2pm - 4pm and from 7pm - 9pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Funeral Service will be held in Leonard's memory on Saturday August 1, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home Chapel, Reverend Cathy Kay officiating.
