Obituary of Richard Nicholls

NICHOLLS, Richard John passed away peacefully, surrounded by love on August 28, 2015 in his 43rd year. Dear friend and inspiration to Shelley Bender. Proud father of Annycka and Nayomi. Much loved son of Jack and Linda Nicholls of Simcoe and loved brother of Mark (Ingrid) Nicholls of Ayr and Allison (Rich) Caputo of Oakville. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins, especially Lori Prehn and Shelley Ouellette. Rick fought and conquered many demons in his life; he fought this demon of ALS with grace and determination and kept his brilliant smile to the end. He was loved by so many people along his journey especially Kathy Knechtel, Wayne Cronin, Patty Groot, and Gord and Linda Wray. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rick on Tuesday September 1, 2015 from 1pm to 3pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME - 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519)-583-1530. Following the visitation a Service to Celebrate Rick's Life will be held in the funeral home Chapel at 3pm. Reverend Ian Shaw officiating.
