Obituary of Gary Ashton

ASHTON, Gary Rolon of Port Ryerse passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday September 25, 2015 in his 66th year. Loving husband of Nancy , dear father and stepfather of Shawn Rolon Ashton, Pauline Ashton (Patrick Brown), David Sharrow (Holly Weagant) all of B.C., Trish (Jeff ) Campbell of Hamilton, Kate Sharrow of Grimsby, April Harris of Port Dover and Jessica Sharrow (Daryal Roberts) of Port Ryerse. Brother of Roger (Elaine) and Pearl (Brian) Dodd all of Hamilton. Proud grandfather of Ashton, Alexis, Zackary, Tomme, Liam, Nikki (Jason), Dani, Laura, Kyra, Cavin, Jacob, Johanna, David and Owen. Great grandfather of Ayla and Brady. Predeceased by his parents Rolon and Edith, grandson Calum (hockey puck) and brother Giles. Gary was a proud member of the IBEW Local 105, a Queen Scout, and an artist with wood and carpentry. Friends are invited to meet with family to share memories of Gary on Friday October 2, 2015 from 2pm to 5pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #158 208 Market St. E Port Dover.
