It is with great sadness that I heard that your dear wife and mother Jane passed away. The few weeks we spent together in our room together and then down the hall from each other - I became to love her and your family very quickly. She had a wonderful spirit about her and we had some inside jokes that kept us going throughout our days in they're together. I am so sorry to hear that things took a turn for the worse and that Jane had gone from everybody's lives too soon! Take care, Denise

A tribute to my Aunt Jane For anyone reading this who doesn’t know me, my name is Camille and I am Jane’s niece, daughter of her older sister, Ann and brother-in-law Don(Bud) Payne. And even though my mom wanted nothing more, than to be there today with all of you, sharing stories and laughter as well as some tears. The words and the feelings that helped to make this tribute, are the combined ones of both my mom and myself. I couldn’t believe it last week when I heard the devastating news that my Aunt had passed away. Aunt Jane lived 79 years surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly . Even though today is such a sad event, I know Aunt Jane would have wanted us to celebrate her life with a smile on our face and laughter in our hearts. From the many stories that I've been told as I was growing up and over the years, Aunt Jane was more than just a sister to my mom; she was her closest dearest friend. They spent countless hours together as children, helping look after their 6 other siblings. They shared a bedroom and even a bed for many years and although at times it caused disagreements, it was a wonderful memory of my mom’s. Aunt Jane enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. She always had a smile on her face and could brighten the darkest days. Aunt Jane would always have a joke or funny story to tell whenever I saw her and I loved her positive fun-loving attitude. She was also a very compassionate person. She cared a lot for her friends and family and would do anything to help them. She was one of the most loving and caring people that I have ever met. Aunt Jane will always be remembered for her positive attitude, generosity and love for life. My mom’s sister was an example to everyone she met of how to live life. And I know that my mom feels honored that Jane was her sister and will look back on their time together with fond memories. Aunt Jane, I will always remember you and the time we spent together. Your memory will live on in mine and my mom’s hearts forever.
