Obituary of Violet Hogan

HOGAN, Violet Elizabeth (nee Tormey) passed away peacefully on Saturday September 10, 2016 at University Hospital London in her 95th year. Loving wife of James of London, dear mother of Ken (Trish) Trinder of Port Dover, Robert (Diane) Trinder of Turkey Point and Carol (Ed) Anthony of Birch Hill, SK. Viloet will be sadly missed by her stepchildren Mary, Jimmy, John, David, Paul, Tommy and Maureen. Fondly remembered by numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Trinder (1977), parents Patrick and Elizabeth, daughter Patricia, brother Bernard Tormey, sisters Nancy Battersby and Doris Williams, brothers-in-law Jack Battersby and John Williams and son-in-law Ken Bannister. Violet enjoyed being with family and maybe a little gambling. A Service to Celebrate Violet's Life will be held on Thursday September 15, 2016 at 11am at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL Home 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519)-583-1530. Rev. Campbell Page officiant.
