Obituary of Catharina Christina Templeman

TEMPLEMAN, Catharina Christina (nee van der Dussen) passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2016 at Dover Cliffs LTC in her 84th year. Predeceased in 1992 by husband Edward. Dear mother of Robert of Port Dover. Survived by siblings Gerrit (Marilyn) of Campbellford; Peter (Dora) of Milton; and Ada van der Dussen of Dundas. Kindly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Catharina's passions in life were her family and her music. She earned an ARCT degree in singing from Toronto University, as well as a BA in Philosophy (by correspondence) from Waterloo University while living in Smiths Falls. The family wishes to thank the staff of Dover Cliffs and Dr. Johnston for their patience and care of Cathy during her final year. Friends are invited to meet with family to share memories of Catharina on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance at 1:00 p.m. Rev.
