Obituary of David Hughes

HUGHES, David , Richard Jenkins passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge Dunnville on Friday February 10, 2017 in his 90th year. Dear father of Laurie (Barry) Awde of Port Dover and Richard (Sharon) Hughes of Cayuga. Loving grandfather of Brittany (Steph), Jorden (Rebecca), Breanne (Matt), David (Kayla) and Ashley (Josh). Proud great-grandfather of Makayla. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Harvey Schumacher of Fisherville. Predeceased by his wife Shirley, parents Thomas and Edith, sisters Eunice and May and brother-in-law Howard Lindsay. David was a automotive enthusiast, enjoyed his yearly vacations to Ontario’s North and driving around the countryside. Friends are invited to share their memories of David on Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 10am to 11am followed by a Service in David’s memory at 11am at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530.
