Rest In Peace Jack , you left us far too soon , you were a living Angel to our family and Port Dover visits will never be the same . Thank you for all the wonderful memories from spending weekends helping you renovate the house , summer vacations at the cottage on the Lake of Bays , July Ist Carnival , Friday the 13th get together , the knowledge you shared and the teaching of carpentry work for me that I use regularly and most of all being a great cousin and friend .
From a early age the Alden’s always looked forward to you stopping in our house on weekends and we also loved going to Port Dover knowing we were going to Jack’s , it was more important than going to the beach .
The entire family has lots of great memories and stories to share , you were a great father figure to not only Richard and Cindy but to many of the boys who used to look up to you for everything from camping , fishing and just hanging out .
This is a sad time for us all and you will be missed dearly , but Jack you earned your stars , you did it right , you treated everyone like family , everyone had respect for you and were proud to have you in their lives .
Until we meet again Jack , keep your head high , keep a watch over all of us and keep us safe .
And to those left behind , Richard , Cindy , Dorothy , Deretta , Donna , Bill and Darlene , also Pat our condolences to you all .
