Obituary of Joanne NOVINKA

NOVINKA, Joanne Irene NOVINKA, Joanne Irene (nee Phillips) of Port Dover, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Norfolk General Hospital, surronded by the love of her family, in her 55th year. Loving wife of Dave. Cherished mother of Michael of Port Dover. Proud grandmother of two grandsons, Nicholas and Jacob. Dearly loved daughter of Irene Phillips and the late Joseph (2003). Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Ed Phillips of Port Dover, Diane Lampman and Brian of Delhi, Cathy Novinka of Port Dover, Sandy VanGaal and Bill of Brantford, Linda Novinka and Claire of Simcoe and Ken Novinka and Yvonne of Simcoe. Will be sadly missed by her mother-in-law Anne Novinka and many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Heather and Dave Allen of Port Dover. Predeceased by her father-in-law Nick (2002). Joanne had been a previous member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #158, Port Dover. Friends are invited to meet with the family to share their memories of Joanne on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, 7 pm to 9 pm (evening only) at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 1 pm in the funeral home Chapel. The Reverend Murray Rounding officiating. Interment Port Dover Cemetery.
