Obituary of Muriel Jean MacDonald
MacDONALD, Muriel Jean (nee Jackson) of Port Dover, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday, May 13, 2019 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Donald (2008). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Rod and Dorothy MacDonald and Patty Perrott and Bob Wood all of Port Dover. Loving grandmother of Andrew and Mark MacDonald and Nathan and Jacob Perrott and great-grandmother of Nolan and Ivy. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Jackson of Simcoe. Predeceased by her parents Warren and Jean Jackson, grandson Micheil MacDonald, brother Gordon Jackson, sisters Annie Jackson, Margaret Porritt and her husband Ralph and Lottie Lampman and her husband Harley. Muriel was a Registered Nurse and worked many years in health care. She was a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch #158, Port Dover. Muriel was a enthusiastic card player and enjoyed many games of bridge with her friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at noon at Knox Presbyterian Church, Chapman St. Port Dover, with visitation one hour prior at 11 am, at the church.
