I grew up across the road from the Smythe Farm, I always thought of Mary & Bob as my “first” friends. We made many walks to the Smythe woods, exploring & playing in the Lynn River. I was always in awe of the Smythe home with the large rooms & high ceilings. We walked to Doan’s Hollow School together every day. I’ve really enjoyed our visits when she & Dennis would come to the farm during the past couple of years. Sadly missed!
