Our hearts go out to Heather, Drew, Chris & family. Hope you can find some peace in the fact that you took such good care of her.
So grateful to have had Aunt Marilyn in our lives. Her home was always a soft place to land. She welcomed family with open arms every single Christmas, Thanksgiving & Easter. Christmas Eve at Aunt Marilyn's house was the longest running tradition starting in early childhood. She never forgot about the kids. Always had something special for them to do. I'm appreciative that she was a tenacious advocate for my Dad when they were growing up. She was a thoughtful, giving person and life will be different without her. I'll miss her stories and I'm so thankful that she "passed the torch" of our family history. Thanks to her we have access to old, precious family photographs and stories. It seems fitting that our last phone chat was about just that. Rest easy, Aunt Marilyn. We've lost our Matriarch. We were lucky to have you and we'll miss you dearly.

Drew, Chris, Heather, and families: We would like you all to know you are in our thoughts. We have some fond memories of Aunt Marilyn. She was always good to us kids. One nice memory I recall often is when Mom would have a get together and there was always lots of goodies. We would be in bed and Aunt Marilyn would always sneak in with a hand full of sweets, we could always count on her. She babysat us when mom was at work and she always took great care of us. We will always think of her with much fondness and Love. R.I.P. Aunt Marilyn and our heartfelt sympathy to all the family. Love Brenda, Dave, Rose, Stu, and families. xo

It was my pleasure to know Marilyn, here in Port Dover. I appreciated her friendship and helpfulness at Probus Club, and at Grace United Church. I admired her strength, and strong will in coping with her ill health issues, on a daily basis. It was a joy to watch her having fun and great pleasure at her 80th birthday party. I will miss this amazing superwoman. My sincere sympathy to all her family. Dianne Evans Telfer.

As a founding member of Newcomers and Friends I wish to extend of deepest condolences to the family,
Marilyn was a cherished member of our group always eager to help and participate, her cabbage rolls at our potluck dinners were always a hit, when Marilyn couldn't make them herself anymore her daughter made them for her. Going out to the group lunches and the stitch and chat group were her favourite activities. We will always think of you with the fondest of memories, sleep peacefully Marilyn
