COSSAR, JAMES ALEXANDER COSSAR, James Alexander, of Port Dover passed away at Dover Cliffs Nursing Home on Thursday, June 17, 2010 in his 79th year. Cherished husband of Rosemary (Bush). Loving father and father-in-law of Judy and Marvin Chambers of Rockford, David and Gail of Port Dover, Deborah and Ray Elias of Toronto, Sandra and Colby Miller of Otterville and Cindy and Robert Jones of London. Dearly loved grandfather of Karrie and Forrest, Kristi and Rob, Kelly, Olivia, Gareth, Emily, and great grandfather of Jordan and Forrest. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Maizie Cossar, Mary Myke, Jean and John Watkins and Betty Phibbs. He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother William and sisters, Kay, Janet, Dorothy and Anne and brothers-in-law Don, Tommy and Robert. Jim was a former fireman at Cayuga Speedway and a member of Grace United Church. He was the delivery man for the Norfolk Co-Op for many years, and after his retirement he became the Sugar Bush Manager of Chambers Maple Lot. Friends are invited to meet with the family to share their memories of Jim on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11 am at Grace United Church (Chapman & St. George Sts.) Port Dover. The Reverend Frank Walker officiating.
