Dear Marian's family
Please know that you are all held close in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times. I was blessed to have met Marian a few times over the past 15 years and she always had this quiet, calming way about her. She knew sorrow in her life but she chose joy. She is with you all still, in your memories, in your hearts and in your love for each other. God's Blessings to you all!

I will always rememeber the times your mom would sit quiety in the arena lobby watching and listening while Dar was on the ice coaching skating. Always with a friendly "hello" and time to chat. I only had a few occassions to see her here and there during the summer or when the bikes were in Dover and she was down for the weekend to get away from all of that, but you all have many, many amazing memories and are so lucky to have been touched by such a wonderful spirit. Sending the entire family hugs from London. Hold on to the memories of the special times you were blessed to have with her. Thinking of you all. Love Kelly Farmer

My condolences on the passing of a remarkable, caring and loving lady. I met Marian and her family through church events, and she was the warmest, friendliest person anyone would love to meet.
She certainly had a presence about her that made you feel welcome, and that you had known her all your life.
She had a smile that generated throughout a room, and a twinkle in her eye, so you knew that she was a genuine all round great person.
I was so Blessed to have seen her many times, and I'm truly grateful for the time we spent together.
Wayne and Mareea my condolences on the passing of your wonderful sister.
Richest Blessings

To all of Marion’s family from all the Hagens- Marion will be sorely missed! For over 30 years she was a part of our lives weekly - she even shared our measles, colds etc. She also was a huge part of our moves, messes and celebrations. We will miss her so much.

My deepest condolences for the loss of a great woman. Come to think of it, I don’t recall a moment of my life that she wasn’t around. She was there when I came home from the hospital that glorious April in 1979; she would cook me a mean “girled cheese” after nursery school; saw me off to kindergarten and was there when I got home; she always had a kind word when I did teenager things in high school; and was proud when I went to college. No matter the occasion, I would cross the street to give her a hug when I saw her in town (and man, those were the BEST, most genuine hugs!). It was my turn to be proud when she was able to attend my wedding, (but not to be outdone, it turned out she was ‘prouder’!). “Parker” - as I called her from the time I had but a couple teeth - was like Prozac, as it was quite impossible to remain down or cross when she lit up the room with her authentic smile. I was her favourite and to be frank, she was mine. It’s maybe not such a sorrowful occasion when you think of what a full and loving life she led, but it IS an overwhelming loss to those left behind. Rest well Parker… Yours, Ad

To the Parker Family. When I heard Marion passed away it broke my heart. I had just sent a Christmas card and told her not to send me one, I would phone her before Christmas, I didn't get that opportunity. I know she is looking down on her family and her extended family. May she rest in peace.

To the Parker Family
Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Our families have a lot of memories together. Mrs Parker was a regular music player for practice sessions at the old Port Dover Arena. She was a small but mighty lady.
I remember Ross coming over to the Kelly Farm & riding the old work horse bareback, Peggy babysat us when we were neighbours, Jimmy helped us chase Uncle Joe's cows off the Blueline Rd, and of course we all skated together. She was so proud of her children. Our last get togethers were when Steven & my Joshua played hockey together for Norfolk Rebels, again very proud of her grandchildren. She lived a full life. She will be missed.
