Obituary of MABEL POS

POS, MABEL "BERNICE" POS, Mabel "Bernice" (nee Dickey) of Port Dover passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Norfolk General Hospital, at the age of 82. Loved and adored mom and mother-in-law of Jo-Anne, Harry and Carol. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Kathryn and Gavin Lawrow and Kim and Warren Copley. She is also survived by two special great grandchildren, Gavin Jr. and Kayla. Predeceased by her husband John Pos (2001) and by a granddaughter. Dear sister of Donna, Pauline and Sid, Dorreen and Martin, Larry and Betty, Ross and Pauline and Archie and Ruth. Predeceased by brothers Stan, Harry, George, Lee, Walter and Earl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jack and Daisy, Ede and Gloria, Margie and Fred, Peggy and Marie Pos. Bernice was a faithful member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Dover, belonging to St. Paul's Club, Women's Auxillary, Joan's dinner group and Woodhouse Women's Institute. Friends may call at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave., Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Thursday, July 8, 2010 7 pm to 9 pm (evening only). The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul's Anglican Church, (Market and St. George Sts.) Port Dover on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11 am. The Reverend Father Kendall Reimer and The Reverend Rob Doerr officiating. Interment Port Dover Cemetery.
