Obituary of Barbara Ann Ryerse

RYERSE, Barbara Ann (nee Browne), peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home Saturday, April 16, 2022 in her 86th year.  Beloved wife of Robert Ryerse. Predeceased by her first husband Robert Wilson and her son Jeffrey Wilson (DJ). Barbara was the daughter of C.M. (Pete) Browne and Evelyn (Ilton). Sister of the late Betty Galbraith, Dorothy Plet and the late Doug Browne.  Barbara is survived by her loving sons, Jody Wilson (Lynn) and his children, Jerilyn Bouck (Mike) and her sons Brady and Dylan, Joey Wilson (Vanessa), Kassidy Wilson (Sarah), Katy Meena (Bryson) and their son Liam. Son Brad Wilson (Karen) and his children Bobby (Hilary), Reilly (Caitlyn), Abby Buchwald (Ben) and their daughter Eliza, and Libby Wilson (Ben). Also survived by (the late) Jeffery's children, Jamie Wilson (Katie) and his children Max and Mya. Jeremy Wilson (Suzanne) and their children, Cole and Evelyn. Josh Wilson and his sons, Ben and Noah.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren's mothers', Melanie Wilson (Bill) and Marianne Wilson and her God daughter Cindy her favourite nieces and nephews Brenda and Rick, Tracy, Trent and Jamie and her special friend Colleen and Joanne and Kathy.  She will also be missed by the Ryerse family, Rob (Sue), Pam Beresford (John), Beth (Tim), Kathryn Wilkinson (Alf), Margaret (Pat) and their families.  After high school, Barbara was employed by Hagersville Army Camp and in later years she worked for T.A. Ivey's for 21 years.  Barbara enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, bowling, bird watching, playing games on the computer and visits with her Dairy Bar Gang. She loved her winters in Arizona where she and Bob made many good friends. But most of all her favourite pastimes were listening to her son Jeff playing guitar and singing and spending time with her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson Waters Funeral Home, Port Dover 519-583-1530. A Memorial Service to celebrate Barb's life will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, (St. George and Market Sts.) Port Dover, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1 pm. The Reverend Rick Jones officiating. The service will also be live streamed at St. Paul's Port Dover Facebook page for those who wish to join virtually. Masks are required at the church. Interment Port Dover Cemetery. For those wishing, donations to Cancer Support and Resouce Program or the Port Dover Lions Club would be greatly appreciated.
