My sympathy to Brad, Brian, and other family members. Betty was a lovely soul, and the best neighbour ever, as I often told her. I lived next door to Betty on Birch Avenue and enjoyed visiting with her over the years. We’d have coffee, often enjoying some of her wonderful baking. Sometimes, I’d be digging snow out of the end of my driveway and would then move on to hers. Betty would open her front door and call, “Go on home now! How am I going to get my exercise?” She cut her own grass and shovelled snow well into her 80s. A cat over, her cats brought her great pleasure.
