Dear Ed and Family...
I am sending our Deepest Sympathy on your loss. Debby was an amazing person and we know how much she will be missed by you, her husband her children and cherished grand children. We are so glad to have met you and Deb the summer you travelled to PEI with your friends (our sister Valerie) and husband Bob. We had lots of laughs, especially about the truck of carrots or fields which Deb said didn't grow on PEI, it remained an ongoing joke. She was so funny..I would mail her a fruitcake at Christmas and tell her to share but I think she ate most of it before Christmas. She said it was so good with a cup of tea/coffee. She said it came in HER name so it was HER cake. We also got to meet Debby a few years later when she and her sister and mom travelled to PEI. We didn't know her long but knew she was a treasure. So from her PEI (family) friends we send all our love, cherished memories and thanks for the friendship.
From: Sandra and Leo DesRoches, Brian and Janet Campbell, Barry and Elizabeth Campbell and Shelley Campbell and Jeff MacLellan (Valerie Meads, sisters and brothers)

My friend forever. We send our prayers and will always remember the fun days we had. Debbie and I went to school together since grade 3. She was our maid of Honour at our Wedding in 1973. Even though we didn't see a lot of each other lately she was and will always be close to my heart. I will always miss her. (Although this if from us both (Roman and Carolyn Hurnacki) she was my friend forever. Carolyn)

Ed, our thoughts, hearts and love go out to you and your family at this very difficult time.
Since hearing this very sad news about Debby, Don and I have been sharing the many happy memories we have of her, of which there are so many. Every single memory has made us laugh as we had so much fun with Debby over the many years we have known her.
Debby was a fun loving, very kind-hearted woman, a loyal friend and I thought of her as a sister. It was a great honour to have known such a woman.
Deb, we will miss you very much our friend.
