My heart breaks for you all. Auntie Ada was a kind, loving person with the best laugh and boy were there many laughs growing up. I will always remember the pot of tea on the table, her crafty creative ideas and her choice in music. She will be forever in our hearts ♥️

To our beautiful Grandma (Nana),
Words can not explain how deeply saddened we are to have lost you so soon. We wish you could have seen us get married & build families of our own.
Your heart, your smile, your silliness, your laugh and your want to make sure we gained at least another three pounds after we left your house will be missed forever.
Love Grace & Abby

I was a fast friend to Nicole and ultimately her amazing family in University. I have so many fond memories from staying or visiting with Ada and Bill (and all of you!) at Fisher’s Glen.
Ada and Bill took me in to their home and fed and fussed over me like parents (at the tender age of 27) for an entire two months when I was a broke Pharmacy student sent their way on clinical roatation. Ada affectionately called me daughter number 4 which always made me smile. She was a sweet soul and I feel lucky to have been doted upon (and fed) by her.
Love to all of you. She will be dearly missed. XO

Dear Bill and family, our most loving and sincere condolences to you all at this very sad time. Our thoughts are with you all. To My Dear friend Ada of 50 plus years remembering the good times, memories last forever. Our Fondue parties on Bay Street, all the empty wine bottles. Our winter get a ways with the group of 7. Remembering our ski trip to Moonstone and staying at Camp Borden. Oh!! the pig roasts with Bob and MaryLou. Our Pot luck suppers and picnics at the glen followed by Graffiti. Games and card parties. The girls growing up in the Glen together. So many more memories. I will miss our weekly face time calls, This is our final goodbye. Gone but never forgotten. xoxoxo

So many years, so many memories. Playing “Pass the Ace” as teenagers, bowling with The Field Mice, parties at the Shipton’s, sharing recipes (Corn Bread) and sharing entertaining ideas. Walking down the lane at Fishers Glen will never be the same without a visit with Ada and some delicious home made cookies. My condolences to Bill and his girls, stay strong and remember all the good times.

We send our sincere condolence to Bill, his daughters and their families along with Ada’s large extended family.
We’re so sad to loose her. We all knew her for her kindness and generosity, her sense of humour and the impish side of her.
Boy, could she cook, bake, knit and throw a party!
One of our first memories of Ada was at the Relays for Life held in Port Dover.
We belonged to the same book club where Ada’s input was thoughtful and insightful. Then there were “the Ladies” parties. We dressed for the occasion and attended Prince William and Kate’s wedding virtually. Ada’s outfit stole the show.
There were many Christmas dinners with gifts for all handcrafted by Ada.
And the Tea Party at The Glen. All times of friendship and fun.
We’ll cherish these wonderful memories and always think of Ada with a smile.

I was a little too young to be a confidante of Ada's growing up but I've always known she was there willing to help and encourage if asked. A kinder person I've rarely met and while we didn't have many meetings I will miss knowing I could just drop in. My sincerest condolences to everyone for this great loss.
