Obituary of Bryan Bernard Lorentz
LORENTZ Bryan Bernard. It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bryan on February 13, 2023 after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved partner of Audrey Wendy Dupon. Bryan will be fondly remembered by his step children Brandon, Jeff (Thi) and grandchildren Cole and Olivia. Survived by his siblings Lynda Ann (Jim) Smith and Kim (Madeleine) Lorentz. Sadly missed by brother -in-law Bob Bridger, nieces, nephews and cousins and will be dearly missed by his fur baby Karma. Predeceased by his parents Jack and June Lorentz, his sister Nancy Marie Steen(2021), stepson Curtis Dupon (2014) and sister-in-law Gayle Bridger. Bryan loved to play a round of golf with his friends and in the winter months a game of pool. He enjoyed working outdoors and maintaining his impeccable gardens and manicured lawn. Bryan would sit on the front porch, talk to everyone who walked by and would get to know them and their dog. He was never to busy to help a friend, neighbour or someone he just thought needed a hand. Bryan started his sales career with JM Schneider meats and retired from his sales career with Kruger Packers. He was a founding member of Paradise & District Lions club of St. Clements and he was also involved in coaching minor hockey. Bryan was an active member at Knox Presbyterian Church in Port Dover before its closing. He then transferred his membership to St.Pauls Presbyterian Church in Simcoe. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Saturday February 25, 2023 from 1-2p.m. at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME. 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519)583-1530.
