MARTIN, MAURICE "MOE"
MARTIN, Maurice "Moe" of Port Dover, passed at Juravinski Cancer Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, August 15, 2010 in his 69th year, after a brave battle with cancer. Dearly loved partner of Shirley Brosseau. Loving and proud father and father-in-law of Rob Martin and Michelle of Simcoe, Brett Brosseau and Susan of St. Williams, Bart Brosseau and Kim of Hamilton, Shelley McKenzie and Dan of Waterford, and Stacey Hellewell and John Dellaire of Waterford. Cherished grandpa of nine grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Raymond, Paul and Ruth, Marie, Fay, Alice and Rita. Predeceased by son-in-law Pete, sisters Pauline and Florence and brothers-in-law Pete, Brian, Emil, Casey, Glen and Ross. Maurice was a long time employee of Texaco/Esso retiring 10 years ago to spend time doing what he loved, fishing and hunting. Years ago he was a member of the former Norfolk Racing Pigeon Club and was a true lover of animals. Maurice will be missed by his family but lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his generous nature. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to meet with the family to celebrate Maurice's life at a gathering at the Army, Navy and Air Force-Unit 255, 53 Water St., Simcoe on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
