Obituary of Fernando Jorge Machado

MACHADO, Fernando of Port Dover, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on June 15, 2023 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Margarida. Dearest father and father-in-law of Paulo and Pam of Simcoe, Ricardo and Janet Wood of Hamilton, Suzanna and Scott Thompson of Waterford. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Ales, Michelle, Sam, Anna, Sophia, Lucas, Draiman and great-grandfather of Avery, Ali, Elizabeth and Oliver. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joe of Rhode Island, Louisa of Toronto, Eugenia of Rhode Island. Predeceased by his brother Gil, Francisco, John and his wife Karen. Fernando worked as a saftey co-ordinator at Ontario Power Generating Plant for many years. Since his retirement he has spent time with his family. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm, at Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave. Port Dover 519-583-1530.
