Obituary of Diane Elizabeth MacAdam

My wife, the love of my life and best friend, Diane Elizabeth MacAdam of Port Dover, passed away peacefully at age 80 with me at her side on July 11th at Norfolk General Hospital after a long illness. We met in 1967 while working at a television station in Orlando, Florida, and were married three weeks later in Charleston, South Carolina. Our daughter, Lenore MacAdam, was born in 1971 in Vancouver, BC, and our son, Lawrence MacAdam was born in 1973 in Vancouver, BC. Diane's passion was art and for several years she owned and operated MacAdam Fine Arts on Main Street, Port Dover, and ran art instruction classes for children and adults. Diane has been predeceased by her brother Normand Halliday, mother Helen Halliday, and father Edward Halliday. Diane has been cremated and there will be no funeral services. In Diane's memory, donations should be made to SPCA.
