Obituary of Vera Repath

With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Vera Marie Repath on July 27th, 2023 at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Repath 2014, Vera was predeceased by her brothers, Gord, Ray and Norm Corcoran.

Amazing, kind and generous mom to: Bill & Donna Repath, Robin & John Buma, Daye & Bill Shipman.

We were all so fortunate to be with her in her final days.

Proud Gran to: Will, Charis & Danny Repath, Bryanne and Wayne Root, Bryan and Janelle Buma

Erin and Jay Lowes, Stevie and Dan Racicot, and Billy Shipman.

They will always remember her kind and loving ways, sweet treats, many hugs and genuine interest in their lives.

Vera adored her great grandchildren: Abby, Liam & Ellie, Easton & Cullen, Dylan & Blake.

A visit or picture received always brought a smile to her face as she cherished all the little ones in her life.

Vera will be fondly remembered by neighbours on Chestnut Hills, in Etobicoke. Family and friends often gathered around her beautiful backyard pool surrounded by her perfectly manicured gardens – just one of her passions.

A talented artist and hard working woman she retired at the age of 65. All throughout those years she always found the time to be there for anyone who was in need of a helping hand or comfort.

Once retired, she enjoyed travel away with family and friends and gatherings at her home on Chestnut Hills and Guelph.

She will always be remembered for being generous, fun, creative and strong.

A special thank you to Parkview Meadows Christian Retirement Village in Townsend where Vera spent her last 2 and half years, they all took such loving care of Vera. We will be eternally grateful.
