Obituary of Harry Wight

WIGHT, Harry Edwin passed away peacefully on Thursday August 10, 2023 at Norview Nursing Home in his 94th year. Loving husband of Eileen, dear father of Richard, Jack of Simcoe, Raymond (Cathy) of Simcoe, George (Lisa) of Port Dover, Murray of London, Diane of Simcoe, Darlene (John) White of Simcoe, Kathy (Ross) Tisdale of Port Dover, Cindy (Cam) O'Brien of Port Dover and Norma (Randy) Schram of Vittoria. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary, daughter Christine Elizabeth, grandson Travis O'Brien, brothers Hugh (Inez), Frank (Eileen), Don (Dolly), Monty (Vera), Wilf (Dorothy), Jack (Glennis) and sisters Fannie (Ken) Yeager, Gladys (Elmer) Shepherd, Lillian (Elmer) Bowerman, Rhea (Otto) Ward and Nora (Harold) Wilkinson. Grandpa H to numerous grand and great grand children. Harry was a livestock dealer and farmer on his farm all his life and had a heart of gold. He had such a zest for life, being with people and having a good time. Friends are invited to meet with family to share their memories of Harry at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover 519-583-1530 on Sunday August 13, 2023 from 7pm to 9pm and Monday August 14, 2023 from 1pm to 2pm.
