Obituary of Donna Carignan

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at Macassa Lodge in Hamilton in her 87th year.
Cherished mother of Sharon (Burrell) Gates. Loving grandmother of John (Kathryn) and Sarah (Anton).
Great-grandmother of Breanna, Bella, Alexander, Kamari, Azaiah and Saniyah. A loving aunt who will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Muriel, as well as her siblings Fred, Ronald, Craig, June, Barb, Lorraine and Beverly.
Donna was passionate about animals. Specifically, dogs and cats. When she no longer had her own dogs to care for you could often find her walking though Port Dover with her neighbour's and friends' dogs. Donna was always a very lucky lady. She loved to play the lottery and enter her name in draws for different charity events and would win. Her winnings from these lotteries and draws would usually be donated back to the community, or to the Simcoe and District Humane Society.
Per Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday February 7, 2024 at Thompson Waters Funeral Home 102 First Ave (519) 583-1530 at 11:00am.
