Obituary of Linda Kelley

KELLEY, Linda Jane with great sadness the family announces the passing of Linda Kelley in her 81st year. Cherished wife of Gord, and loving mother of Patrick, Gerry (Mat), and the late Lois. Linda will be fondly remembered by her sister Melissa (Bill) and her brother Jody (Valerie). She will be sadly missed by her close friends Caroline and Lorraine. Predeceased by her parents John and Lois Bauerlein, brother Gerry (Elaine), and sister Mary Lou. Linda was a creative person who enjoyed knitting and water colour painting. Her love of family and friends was captured in hundreds of cherished photos. Whether baking homemade peach crisp or frying up a fish dinner, Linda loved cooking for family, friends, and customers of the Dover Dairy Bar. When living in Canning Linda enjoyed raising her prize-winning Black Angus cows and breeding Pomeranian dogs. Her love of plants brightened her gardens in Paris and Port Dover. Linda's thoughtfulness and generosity will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Dorothy and Olivia from the Norfolk General Hospital for their kind and tender care. As per Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Catholic Mass will be said in Linda's name on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 5:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Washington St. Paris, On.   Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life later this year.
