Dear John and Family; My sincere condolences at the passing of Marie. I have wonderful memories of our many cemetery transcribing times and her dedication to preserving our local history and family genealogies. Her work in leading the Norfolk Branch of the OGS was so very much appreciated and will be for many years to come.
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time.

Marie has been an important part of our family for many, many years. Marie was happiest at home, surrounded by those she loved, or working diligently on one of her many genealogy projects. We will miss her dearly.

My sincere sympathies to John and all of Marie's family, on your loss of Marie. Our families were neighbour's from 1946 to 1954. We lived at 320 St. Andrew St. beside Mr. Whitesell. I baby sat Marie and her brothers in '53 and '54.I was pleased to meet Marie and John, at a Genealogy Lecture at Eva Brooke Donly Museum, a few years ago. They had done some very important work, cataloging Norfolk Cemeterys. I have lots of good memories of our great neigbourhood, when we were children. Marie will be greatly missed by all her Family and Friends and all who knew her. Dianne

My deepest sympathies to Marie’s family at this very sad time. She will always be remembered for the tremendous contribution she made to Norfolk County geneology. Marie was very quiet and never boastful about the work she was doing. Thanks to Marie, she gave me the geneology bug and I bought several of her records. May she rest in peace now. My thoughts and prayers to her mother, her husband and family.
