Obituary of Douglas Schuyler

SCHUYLER, Douglas Laurence passed away in his 59th year following a lengthy and valiant journey with pancreatic cancer.
Doug is survived by his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth (Painter) and his daughters and son-in-law Georgia Schuyler and Samantha & Justin Cridland.He is also survived by his sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and niece: Miriam & David Woods, their daughter Michelle; and Keith Painter. Doug was proud to be a 25-year employee of Rassaun Services as a welder/fabricator and with that came an extensive work family to share his days with at a job he loved.He was grateful for and very much appreciated his special friends who visited him at home, assisted him with tasks he wanted taken care of before he passed, sent messages of concern, and to his cheerful and compassionate caregivers.Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Doug at the family home on Saturday, July 6th at 3 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 519-583-1530.
