Aww Fred. I want to tell you, sincerely, that it was a privilege living next to you and sharing your passion of the beauty of trees, the art of garden greenery and the newest exciting colours we could splash through them - making absolute sure you and I never never made them look like a “candy shop.” Your passion always exceeded mine just a titch, as it should. You continued to call me “dear” or “kiddo” when you’d be upset with others. And you need to know how much that warmed my heart. This year I had to say goodbye to the peach tree you grew in our backyard - apropos I believe. I made Will leave part of it so I could make it into something else for you. Maybe a birdbath, or a birdhouse. You will always be one of the influencing people on my mind while in my gardens. Thank you Fred. Sincerely. Xo
