Peter. What a lovely lovely man with a huge heart. I knew when he said he was praying for me that he truly was and it was not merely lip service. I was so thankful for his prayers.Despite the fact that I am Jewish I have always kept the Saint Joseph he gave me in my wallet.
I had great respect for his devotion to his faith.
As he was a bachelor, I knew he wasn't eating much homemade food so I did my best to share my meals with him (via Tupperware). He was always so grateful that it was really a thrill for me to share.
As you all probably know, he just loved to send out cards for the holidays. I loved to received them. Knowing I had two cats he did what he could to select "cat cards" for me. I loved it so much.
The world has lost a wonderful soul.
My heartfelt condolences to his sister and her partner.
He will not be forgotten.

My sincere condolences to the family and his close friends. I had the pleasure of working with Peter at Brebeuf for my entire time there teaching in the Religion Department. Peter was a devoted Catholic educator who faithfully served our Lord in the best of ways, in leading others to Christ. My our Lord receive him with the words, "Well done good and faithful servant...." Rest in peace my friend.

Sincere condolences and promise of prayers from the Krevs family. Peter taught my two younger brothers at Brebeuf and was on staff there with our dad (Rado) who we lost to cancer earlier this year. Peter was an incredibly kind and faithful man. May he rest in peace.

Peter and I first met when I began attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) parish-church in midtown Toronto, some 40 years ago. He was pleased that my wife Joanne (deceased) was in the choir with his father, and often urged me to join. But Pete and I added much appreciated singing (some would say noise, only referring to me), from the two front-row pews we occupied.
Later on when I was finished with leading the Children's Liturgy 'at the 9.30,' I often found time to go after Mass with him to his favourite burger joint at Eglinton West and Oriole Parking for breakfast, Peter always setting a brisk pace. (He loved walking all over midtown Toronto and often down to Lake Ontario). If he was here today (Nov 19), we would head downtown to join our beloved Argos and fans in celebrating another Grey Cup win.
Weekday trivia (and the occassional cocktail) at the Bull & Firkin won't be the same without Peter, and I know for a fact he's already missed by his 5 teammates. His music, geography and general knowledge complemented my skills in history and politics, and we both did a good job with sports' questions, the older the timeframe, the better.
You fought the good fight, Pete, now rest in peace and enjoy family and friends, especially the OLPH crowd, in heaven. I'll miss you, bud.

Douglas Lome,, Peter was a gentle soul and great friend always there if you needed him and always with a big smile.
We had numerous rounds of golf together and a few games of trivia along with the odd beer or two.
Not to mention the odd discussion on religion.
One of the good ones.
He will be missed.
Rest in eternal peace my friend.
