Obituary of ELIZABETH FORD

FORD, Catherine "Elizabeth" (nee Shaw) of Port Dover passed away after a brief illness on Friday December 26, 2014 at Norfolk General Hospital in her 78th year. Loving wife of Allan, dear mother of Raymond Stephens (Debbie) of Guelph, Richard Stephens (Caroline) of Cambridge and Michelle Eidt (Doug) of Cambridge. Proud grandmother of Noelle, Denise, Paul, Joshua, Rebecca, Brody, Brianna, Callum and Lauren. Adoring great-grandmother of Liliana and Olivia. Elizabeth had varied interests throughout her life; she loved music and playing the piano, enjoyed golfing, gardening and oil painting, was an avid trivia buff, and liked to collect stamps. She will be forever remembered by all that knew and loved her. Friends are invited to meet with family to share memories of Elizabeth on Tuesday December 30, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530. A Service to Celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held Wednesday December 31, 2014 at 11am at the funeral home Chapel. Father Kendall Reimer officiant. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff on the 3rd and 4th floor at Norfolk General Hospital for all their loving care for Elizabeth over the last month.
