Lorin, Alan, and Kimberly, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Evelyn fondly, and remember a time I got to know her a bit through my work in Dover. She made a mark in my life, and her gardening tips came in handy. It was always a pleasure to spend time with her chatting and listening. I always loved her smile! I remember meeting Ev back in 1981. She became Lorin's happy, energetic and personal chauffeur. Ev and Lorin appeared to many of us as sisters opposed to mother and daughter. Lorin got herself involved in Wayne Gretzky's 1st celebrity tournament, I was the chairman, and mom, in all kinds of weather, day and night, delivered Lorin to the Gretzky homestead and/or other venues of the long and detailed meetings. I do remember Ev, although it was so many years ago (1981/1982)and it is sad to hear of her passing. On behalf of my entire family I extend our love to Lorin, her family and friends. P.S. Walter Gretzky also sends his condolences on behalf of his family.
